Please read this agreement carefully before purchasing or using software or services from Unicode Designs. By purchasing or using Unicode Designs’ software or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you are acting on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. You must not use Unicode Designs’ products, software, or services if you do not accept these terms.
2. Licensing
Unicode Designs plugins and themes are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3.0 or later (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html).
3. Warranty Disclaimer
All software is provided “as is” without any warranties. Unicode Designs disclaims any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the software at your own risk. We are not responsible for data loss or compatibility conflicts that may arise from installation.
4. Support Services
- Support is available for active subscription holders via our support page.
- Support requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We make commercially reasonable efforts to resolve issues but do not guarantee issue resolution.
- Support is available Monday to Friday (excluding major holidays) from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (+5:30 GMT).
- We only support our own WordPress products and ensure compatibility with the latest WordPress version.
5. Automatic Updates
Automatic updates are available for valid license holders with an active subscription.
6. License Usage
- Each customer receives a non-transferable license for internal use.
- License holders may not resell or distribute license keys.
- Support is provided only to the original purchaser with a valid license key.
7. Product Delivery
- Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with purchase details and license key.
- Downloads are available in your account.
- Download access is tied to license validity; expired licenses restrict downloads.
8. Ownership Rights
Unicode Designs retains all rights, titles, and interests, including intellectual property rights, to its products, services, and content. You may not bundle Unicode Designs products with other software for resale.
9. Price Changes
Unicode Designs reserves the right to modify product pricing, licensing terms, or subscriptions without prior notice.
10. Subscriptions & Renewals
- All paid plugins and themes are sold as automatically recurring subscriptions, renewing annually.
- Renewals are processed on the purchase anniversary unless canceled before renewal.
- You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account.
- If canceled, updates and support cease upon license expiration.
- Renewing after cancellation requires payment at the current listed price.
- Refunds are not granted for renewal payments.
11. Refund Policy
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Requests must be made within 7 days of the original purchase.
- Refunds are not available after the 7-day window.
- Refunds are not provided for renewal payments.
- If the software is unusable due to unresolved issues, we will consider a refund.
- Refunds are not granted for conflicts with third-party software.
- Approved refunds require deactivation and removal of the plugin from your site.
Non-Refundable Custom Development Services:
- Payments for custom development are final and non-refundable.
- Clients must provide clear specifications before work begins.
- Delays or abandonment of projects do not warrant refunds.
- Unicode Designs is committed to resolving disputes but will not issue refunds for custom services.
12. Email Communication
We may email you regarding product updates, promotions, or support. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time.
13. License Agreement
By purchasing our products, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
14. Support Policy
- Support is provided only for licensed users on the activated domain.
- We respond within 12 hours on weekdays and 24-48 hours on weekends.
- Users should maintain staging servers for testing updates before applying them to live sites.
15. Server Access & Liability
- We may require access to your WordPress or hosting panel to diagnose issues.
- Users are responsible for data integrity and security before granting access.
- We are not liable for any consequences arising from granted access.
16. Bug Reporting
- Users should report bugs to our support team.
- Security-related bugs are addressed immediately, while non-critical bugs are resolved in future updates.
